This is a premodded PlayStation 1 console. Each system is purchased, modded, and then shipped to you.

Steps

Here’s how this product works:

1. You place an order for a specific console revision and modchip.
2. I purchase a used PlayStation 1 console (the same console revision you selected).
3. When I get the console I’ll clean it up, mod it, and then ship it to you.

You can think of this product sort of like a preorder for a premodded system. I’ll get it to you as soon as I can, but it’ll likely take a while for it to arrive at your door.

It can take some time to find a good working system for sale that isn’t beat up, broken, or super expensive. There’s also a chance that systems listed as tested and working for sale online don’t actually work correctly. So please be patient while I work to fulfill your preorder.

Console options

There are a couple of options you can choose from when purchasing a premodded console:

• Console: which PlayStation 1 console model you want.
• Modchip: which modchip you want to be installed into the console.

Modchip features

Modchips have a great set of features allowing the chip to be easy to install, compatible with pretty much all PS1 consoles, and compatible with all games.

• Compatible with all PS1 consoles from the original SCPH-1001 through the slim SPH-101. There are a few exceptions though, so read the compatibility section.
• Play game backups from any region.
• Play genuine games from any region.
• Works with all games, even anti-modchip games like Spryo 3.

Payments

I accept payments through PayPal, which lets you pay with your PayPal balance, bank account, or credit card.

Payments are also accepted through Shopify payments which is done through Stripe. Various payment methods are available through Shopify payments including credit cards and Google/Apple Pay.

Shipping

Once I receive the console I’ll install the chip within 5 business days (Monday-Friday), and then ship it back to you within one business day (Monday-Friday) of completion.

If you happen to receive a defective installation and you can’t get it working even after I help you, then I can send you a refund.
